About Pioneer Families of Pulaski County, MO & Adjoining Counties
The Pioneer Families that settled in Pulaski County, Missouri in the 1840's originated from Kentucky, Tennesee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Indiana, and the Virginias. However they are all descendants of the immigrants that traveled here many years ago from England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, France, Italy and other European countries.

This web site is my families connection to many of those families. Families names such as Bartlett, Trower, Weber, Wilkerson, Wilkinson, Gray, Layman, Overby, Routh, Lipscomb, Hammock, Long, Gladden, Manes, Hensley, Logan, Sanders, York, Christeson, and many many more.

In my ten years of research of the Pioneer Families of Pulaski County, I have found out that most of these families traveled together, lived nearby and married into many of the same families. Most of the families had siblings, aunts or uncles who settled in counties surrounding Pulaski. So you will see as we progress through time I have also added pioneers living in Maries, Miller, Texas, Phelps and Laclede Counties.

The web page I started many years ago, titled "Moments in Time with the Pioneer families of Pulaski County, MO", has been a huge success and allowed me to assist so many of you with somewhere to start.

The database is now up to 150,000 names and still growing. Since it's inception things have changed and I am not able to edit the orginial web site pages, so I have decided to start this new one. The address of the old page is, www.geocities.com/Heartland/Woods/5143 and I have added a link so you can access it below. I do have a CD available of the database if interested. I by no means claim that the information in this database and on this web site is 100% accurate. I have done my best to research as much of this information as possible. Much of the information I have recieved has come from other families that once they found my web site they shared their information with me.

I have many many old pioneers photos that I have collected and people have sent me. I am going to attempt to put them on the web page first. I have only so much room allowed for the photos so if you have any old photos of your pioneer families and would like to see them here, please send them to me. If you run across any mistakes please feel free to contact me and help me get it corrected.
 .
Both of the sites will enlighten you about the Pioneer Families of Pulaski County surrounding counties and Pulaski County history. Hopefully it will give you a place to start your own family research. I believe you will enjoy it and hope it will be very helpful.
